The Migration Process - Explained
- Joomla 3.x is installed on a sub folder on your server
- The core Joomla data is moved (users, sections, categories, articles, modules, images…)
- Your template is updated with Joomla 3.x code
- Any add-ons are installed and data is migrated over
- We test the site, page by page to ensure it looks and functions like the old site.
- Once you sign off, new site goes live. The old site is moved to another folder.
